Schedule Discord announcements with a verified webhook
Connect a Discord channel for scheduled announcements, understand mention and moderation limits, and verify delivery before retrying.

Use Naasher's Discord connection to schedule messages into a channel through an incoming webhook. It is a publishing connection, not a moderation bot, direct-message inbox, or server analytics integration. Confirm that Discord is enabled for your account before preparing a campaign.
Reviewed 17 October 2026. Naasher's implemented connector verifies a Discord webhook before saving the connection. Discord's official webhook documentation explains incoming webhooks and message delivery. A webhook can post into its destination without installing a bot user.
Prepare a safe destination
Ask a server member with the appropriate permissions to create a webhook for the intended channel. Use a test channel first. Treat the webhook URL as a secret: possession grants publishing capability. Do not paste it into public posts, support screenshots, a source repository, or shared documents.
In Naasher, open Accounts, select Discord, and enter the webhook URL in the connection field. A successful connection means the webhook was verified; it does not prove that a scheduled campaign has published. Recheck the channel and workspace labels before saving drafts.
What the connector actually sends
Naasher's Discord connector accepts text up to 2,000 characters and up to ten attachments within its configured media limits. Automatic mention parsing is disabled. Do not use it for an announcement that depends on pinging everyone or a role without verifying the required behavior separately.
| Requirement | Current boundary | Practical consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Scheduled announcement | Message sent through a verified webhook | Check the destination channel |
| Mass notification | Automatic mentions disabled | Do not promise an everyone or role ping |
| Community replies or moderation | Not provided by this connection | Use Discord or a separate moderation workflow |
| Proof of delivery | Returned message ID and visible message | A queue receipt is insufficient |
Do not assume that the connector's text and attachment limits override Discord's account, channel, or upload rules. Prepare a representative message with its final media before preparing a larger batch.
Recover without duplicating announcements
If delivery times out, inspect the Discord channel before retrying. The remote message may exist even when the response did not reach Naasher. Compare the text, destination, and time; a second send can create a duplicate.
If the webhook was deleted or rotated, replace the connection with a valid webhook and verify the intended destination. Do not paste the old secret into a troubleshooting report. Use the publishing incident guide for the broader recovery process.
Decide whether you need scheduling
For a one-off message, posting directly in Discord is often sufficient. Shared scheduling earns its place when you need to coordinate announcements with other networks and review them in advance. It does not replace community moderation or guarantee delivery during a provider outage.
Create a Naasher account, check the plan allowance, and connect a test-channel webhook if Discord is available. Schedule one harmless announcement, confirm its visible message, and only then move the repeatable workflow. See the provider matrix for other networks.
