Naasher vs Retm for Saudi and Arabic social teams

A sourced comparison of Naasher and Retm across pricing, VAT, accounts, workspaces, approvals, Arabic UX, networks, analytics, security, and a practical buying test.

Bottom line: Retm and Naasher are Arabic-market social management products, but they package different operating models. Retm presents a Saudi path, SAR pricing, local payments, task management, a media studio, external client approval links, and enterprise tiers. Naasher offers a free entry point, unlimited members without seat fees, larger self-serve channel allowances, REST, signed webhooks and MCP, plus explicit disclosure when a provider integration is not yet open to ordinary production accounts. The right choice depends on configured cost and the workflow your team can actually prove.

This page is written by the Naasher team, and Naasher is commercially interested in the comparison. We did not buy Retm, connect social accounts to it, test its application, or verify its uptime, publishing reliability, support, or analytics. We reviewed Retm's public pages on August 22, 2026. Phrases such as “Retm states” describe first-party claims, not an independent certification.

Read Naasher's editorial and corrections policy in Arabic. Open both live pricing pages before buying because limits, tax treatment, discounts, and provider availability can change after this review date.

Short buying verdict

Put Retm on the test list when declared Saudi hosting, Mada or Apple Pay, bank transfer, external client approval links, task management, or an integrated media studio is required. Retm also states that it offers enterprise lanes, audit logs, two-factor authentication, reports, and tiered support. Do not assume every item works identically on every plan; the live matrix and contract should settle that.

Put Naasher on the test list when you need to start without a card, add teammates without per-seat charges, connect more accounts in a self-serve tier, or build with REST, signed webhooks, and MCP. Naasher also distinguishes built integration code from ordinary production access: TikTok connection and creator-inbox upload are approved for production, but Direct Post is not enabled; Snapchat remains limited to approved test accounts while provider approval is pending.

Do not decide from a feature page. Build the same representative week in both tools, connect non-critical accounts, send the same mixed Arabic draft through review, and verify the published result on each network. A longer feature list may still create more manual work in your exact process.

Method and evidence limits

We reviewed three Retm primary sources: its Arabic home page, pricing page, and platform specifications guide. Those pages support what Retm publicly states about its plans, features, and coverage. They are vendor sources and do not independently establish usability, service availability, support quality, or the accuracy of marketing counters.

For Naasher, we used the current pricing and features pages, which are published in Arabic, and the product configuration that generates those values. Since Naasher publishes this comparison, readers should verify our claims in the free tier or a trial. We do not invent scores, testimonials, market-share numbers, or a missing feature merely because it was absent from one Retm page.

The comparison asks eight buying questions: entry cost, configured cost, people and workspaces, approvals and collaboration, production network access, Arabic quality, analytics, and security operations. Anything not established remains a test question instead of becoming a negative claim.

Pricing: model the configured bill

On August 22, 2026, Retm's pricing page listed four levels. Start was SAR 99 per month before VAT with one workspace, 99 monthly posts, five social accounts across five platform types, 1 GB storage, and 200 AI requests. Retmat was SAR 999 per month with one member, one workspace, 500 posts, nine accounts, 20 GB, and 700 AI requests. Aish started at SAR 1,799 per month for one user and one workspace and listed 1,000 posts, 45 accounts, 50 GB, and advanced roles. Enterprise was by quote. The published prices excluded 15% VAT.

Naasher lists four USD tiers. Free includes one workspace, two channels, and 10 scheduled posts per month. Creator is USD 12 per month with one workspace, eight included channels, and unlimited scheduling. Team is USD 49 with up to five workspaces, 30 channels, and approvals. Agency is USD 99 with up to 15 workspaces and 100 channels. Members are unlimited on every tier. Paid plans currently include a 14-day trial through checkout, with published prices for additional channels and workspaces and prepaid X posting beyond each allowance.

Three scenarios show why a headline price cannot decide:

  1. One creator with five accounts: Retm Start contains the account count for SAR 99 before VAT. Naasher Free does not, while Creator costs USD 12 and contains eight channels with unlimited scheduling. Include exchange rate, tax, and payment method.
  2. Five teammates with nine accounts: Retmat's published one-member limit makes the other people a required pricing question. Naasher does not charge per seat, but its simpler review lane still needs to meet the operating requirement.
  3. An agency needing external client approval: Retm's stated external links and task workflow may outweigh price. Naasher records review requests and approvals inside a workspace but does not currently offer internal review comments or immutable version history.

List real people, accounts, clients, monthly posts, storage, and mandatory features in one sheet. Ask both vendors to price that identical case with VAT and add-ons. Do not compare similarly named tiers that contain different teams.

Arabic and RTL: test editing, not a badge

Retm's public site is Arabic and RTL and calls the product Saudi and Arabic. Naasher is also built around an Arabic RTL interface. Both are meaningful starting points, but neither proves every mixed-direction case.

Use one acceptance draft containing an Arabic paragraph, an English brand name, Western digits, a price, a UTM link, Arabic and English hashtags, and an image with Arabic alt text. Test cursor movement, selection, wrapping, mobile preview, paste behavior, character-limit warnings, and hashtag order. Then inspect the network output. A correct editor with a reversed preview or broken published punctuation is not a successful workflow.

Planning, approvals, and team responsibility

Retm describes a path from idea to creation, approval, publishing, and analysis. It states that the product includes an idea inbox, task management, a media studio, internal and external approval chains, comments, and approval history. On paper this is broader than Naasher's current review lane. If the buying goal is to replace Trello, email, or WhatsApp, test this first.

In Naasher, an editor submits a draft for workspace review, a member with publish permission approves it back to draft, and request and approval events remain in activity history. There are no internal draft comments or immutable version history today. That may fit a small team that keeps discussion in its collaboration system, and it may be insufficient for an agency needing client links and multiple feedback rounds.

Run a test: create a draft, change media after review, reject and resubmit it, switch reviewers, then attempt to publish without approval. Record who was notified, what stayed in history, and whether the client can identify the exact approved version.

Networks: separate code from production access

Retm lists Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Telegram, and Google on its site, with “new” or “coming soon” labels in different places. Another section mentions 12 platforms. Public pages alone cannot reconcile those counts or establish the publishing mode for every network. Ask for a written acceptance matrix by account type, format, country, and tier.

Naasher has integration packages for X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Mastodon, Bluesky, Snapchat, and Discord. Ordinary production access is currently available for X, LinkedIn profiles, TikTok creator-inbox upload, Mastodon, Bluesky, and verified Discord webhooks. Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn Pages, YouTube, and Snapchat remain restricted to approved test accounts while their provider approvals are pending. TikTok Direct Post is not enabled. Do not count a logo as success: publish to a non-critical destination and verify the remote post identifier or permalink.

Use the Facebook guide and Instagram guide to form permission and media checks. For each network record the account type, content format, media constraints, privacy, comments or messages, analytics fields, and retry policy.

Analytics and reporting

Retm states that its unified dashboard covers growth, engagement, quality, audience analysis, and AI-assisted insights. Its pricing table places “reports and analytics” in Enterprise even though the home page discusses analytics more broadly. We do not label that a contradiction; there may be a difference between operational views and advanced reporting. Ask which fields exist, which tier unlocks them, retention windows, and export formats.

Naasher exposes account and post analytics, follower growth, engagement rate, top content, and time suggestions. Do not compare an advertised count of metrics. Compare each definition to the original provider. Ask how the product handles API changes, missing values, deleted posts, time zones, and whether unavailable is kept distinct from zero.

Choose three posts published natively and three through the tool, wait the same age, and compare their values with the native application. A polished dashboard is not evidence if definitions differ or delayed data is not disclosed.

Security, residency, and compliance

Retm states that it provides two-factor authentication, encryption, audit logs, backups, Saudi hosting, and certification badges. A marketing page does not establish certificate scope or the location of every copy. If those claims are buying requirements, request the contracting entity, certificate scope, primary and backup regions, subprocessors, retention, SLA, and recovery procedure.

Naasher publishes Arabic pages for security, subprocessors, and its data processing agreement. It is currently managed in Germany and encrypts social access tokens at rest. That can fit many Arabic teams, but it does not satisfy a mandatory Saudi-residency requirement. Separate legal requirements from a preference for local purchasing, and involve counsel for sensitive procurement.

A 60-minute acceptance test

  1. Connect two non-critical accounts on different networks without giving the tool your social password.
  2. Build one mixed Arabic draft with an image, video, and platform-specific copy.
  3. Request review, modify a version after feedback, and inspect history and permissions.
  4. Schedule one post in 20 minutes and another in a different time zone.
  5. Verify copy, media, link, time, and remote identifier on the network.
  6. Revoke provider access, then inspect the error, reconnection, and duplicate prevention.
  7. Compare analytics fields with the native provider after the same interval.
  8. Calculate the bill with people, accounts, workspaces, add-ons, currency, and tax.

Do not move a primary brand account until this test succeeds and the rollback path is documented. Do not grant broader scopes merely to make a trial faster.

Where each product is clearly stronger

Retm is stronger on paper for a Saudi procurement path, SAR and local payments, task management, a media studio, external client approval links, and enterprise presentation. Those are substantial advantages. Their application behavior and tier limits still need to be verified.

Naasher is clearly stronger in its current public offer for free entry, no seat charges, self-serve channel allowances, developer interfaces, and explicit disclosure of provider approval status. Naasher does not claim to replace project management or provide external review links today.

Retm may be the better choice for a Saudi agency that requires local hosting and client approval by link. Naasher may be better for a distributed team that needs many members, more self-serve channels, and API access. Neither may be suitable when a mandatory network, retention rule, or enterprise integration remains unproven.

The fair next step

Open Retm's live pricing beside Naasher pricing in Arabic. Use one acceptance sheet and give both products the same accounts, time, and workflow. Ask Retm to demonstrate production network access, its approval path, and residency. Inspect Naasher's provider restrictions and simpler approval model.

If Naasher matches the requirements, create a free workspace for the test—not as a substitute for it. A good decision is the product that survives publishing, review, and the configured bill after a real week, not the one that wins a table written by either vendor.

Frequently asked questions

Is Retm or Naasher cheaper?
It depends on the configured scenario. Retm listed an entry plan at SAR 99 per month before VAT for five accounts and 99 posts when reviewed on August 22, 2026. Naasher starts with a free plan for two channels and 10 scheduled posts, then USD 12 per month for eight channels and unlimited scheduling. Compare people, workspaces, accounts, volume, VAT, and currency together.
When should a team shortlist Retm?
Shortlist Retm when declared Saudi hosting, local payment methods, task management, a media studio, external client approval links, or a Saudi enterprise path is mandatory. Retm publishes those claims; Naasher has not independently tested them inside a paid Retm account.
Is this an independent Retm review?
No. Naasher is a party to the comparison. We reviewed Retm's public product, pricing, and platform-guide pages on August 22, 2026. We did not buy a plan, connect accounts, or test publishing reliability, so Retm claims remain attributed rather than independently verified.
