# How to schedule posts and threads on X in 2026

Schedule X posts, understand how successful thread runs are chained, and verify partial or uncertain outcomes before retrying.

**In short:** use X's native composer when it offers the scheduling you need for one account. Use an API-based scheduler for cross-account workflows, but treat a thread as a sequence of provider writes—not as one indivisible post.

## How a successful Naasher thread is chained

X documents replies in its [Create Post API reference](https://docs.x.com/x-api/posts/create-post). Naasher sends the first stored part, captures the returned X identifier, then sends each following part as a reply to the identifier returned for the preceding part. That describes a successful run; it is not an all-or-nothing guarantee.

If a later part is rejected, the earlier parts may already be public. If X accepted a request but Naasher could not confirm the response, the target stays in an uncertain state rather than being replayed automatically. In either case, inspect the connected X account before creating a replacement so you do not duplicate content that already shipped.

## Provider rates are not a Naasher calculator

X's official [pay-per-use pricing](https://docs.x.com/x-api/getting-started/pricing) lists rates per successful write request. A thread can require several create requests, and a follow-up reply is another request. Those provider costs do not by themselves define a Naasher customer charge.

Not a billing calculator

This guide does not calculate how Naasher counts thread parts, follow-up replies, retries, URL-bearing posts, prepaid credits, held or released credits, or annual-plan overages. Those cases need a confirmed behavior matrix and checkout reconciliation before a customer-cost calculator can be published.

Use the [X API request-pricing guide](/en/blog/x-api-costs) for the current official endpoint table and its limits. Use the live Naasher pricing and checkout terms for the offer presented to your account; ask support to confirm an edge case before committing a high-volume campaign.

For conversational chains on Meta's network, compare the [Threads guide](/en/guides/threads).

## Frequently asked questions

Can I schedule an individual post on X itself?

X's web composer may offer native scheduling for an individual post. Check the current composer for your account; it does not replace a cross-account approval and audit workflow.

Why do third-party tools limit X publishing?

X meters API operations. Its endpoint rates are costs to the developer app, not a definition of how Naasher counts customer usage or credits.

How does Naasher publish an X thread?

On a successful run, Naasher sends the stored parts in order and uses each returned X post identifier as the parent of the next reply. If a later part fails, earlier parts may already be live, so verify the X account before creating a replacement.
