# Naasher Free vs paid: choose by the work you need

When two channels and ten monthly scheduled posts are enough, and when approvals, workspaces, or X require another plan.

Start with Free if you need one workspace, at most two eligible channels, and ten scheduled posts per month. Do not upgrade just because several colleagues need access: members are unlimited on every Naasher plan. Upgrade for a specific allowance or workflow.

## Free is a continuing plan; a paid trial is different

Free does not require a payment card. It does not include X, approvals, AI assist, advanced analytics, the inbox, REST API access, webhooks, or MCP. A paid trial starts through checkout with a payment method; inspect its renewal date and terms before confirming it. A Free account does not itself authorize a paid subscription.

The workspace and channel counts above are included allowances. Paid workspace/channel overages can change the total; compare the configured bill on pricing rather than treating each allowance as an absolute cap.

Unlimited scheduling is not unlimited provider access or unlimited X. Provider format limits, account authorization, and metered entitlements still apply.

## Three decisions that prevent unnecessary upgrades

**A volunteer and an editor, two non-X channels, eight scheduled posts a month:** Free fits those counts if they review outside Naasher. If the editor needs Naasher's approval lane, Free does not fit even though volume is low.

**One brand, six channels, frequent scheduling:** Creator fits those allowances if approvals and programmatic access are not required. The existence of a marketing API page does not make API access part of Creator.

**Three clients, each with two channels:** Team can keep clients in separate workspaces. Creator's eight channels are enough numerically but its single workspace does not provide that separation. Agency is justified by higher allowances, not by calling the company an agency.

## Count X separately

A paid plan includes a monthly X allowance. Further X publishing uses prepaid credits under the current rules; Free has no X entitlement. A thread or batch can create several operations, so check the product's estimate before approving work. Do not interpret an unlimited scheduled-post allowance as unlimited paid-provider usage. Consult [X costs](/en/blog/x-api-costs) and the checkout total.

## Paying does not remove provider restrictions

The [provider matrix](/en/guides/provider-status-matrix) is the first check for a new account. Restricted YouTube or Snapchat access, and TikTok's upload-to-inbox rather than ordinary Direct Post, are not solved by upgrading. Use the native app when the required format or account path is unavailable.

Approvals also have a boundary: Naasher records request and approval events but does not provide review comments or immutable post-version history. Read the [approval workflow](/en/blog/social-media-approval-workflow) before relying on it for an audit requirement.

## Test before changing the subscription

[Create a Free account](https://app.naasher.com/sign-up), connect one eligible channel, prepare a draft, and verify the final post. Write down the missing workflow or exhausted allowance. If there is none, staying on Free is a reasonable outcome. If there is one, compare the matching plan on [pricing](/pricing) and review its trial and renewal terms.

## Test the workflow with your real accounts

Start free, then compare the composer, calendar, and channel limits with what your team actually needs before choosing a plan.
